This year, our class produced the 3rd Annual Talent Show of Mrs. Cleland's Class. I saw so much talent in so many children who had yet to share their gifts with us and I enjoyed every moment of it. This talent show is produced and directed with as little teacher intervention as possible...because they sure didn't need any help to display their skills.
Paige and Adajja were our fabulous MCs and kept the class entertained between each act and while judges were deliberating.
Our judges were our favorite assistant Mrs. Wintermute, Mrs. Brinson, Dy'Quan (who earned the nickname of "Simon" throughout judging), Katie, and Stanley. They did a fabulous job of scoring each act and giving helpful advice for improvement in future endeavors.
It was very interesting that it was decided we would have two 3rd place acts, two 2nd place acts, and two 1st place acts. What can I say? We are a very unique class.
First Place:
Tee K and Tiana - These ladies sang two songs. One was Walk on Water and the other was in Karen. It was called My People.
New Boyz (although Mrs. Cleland doesn't like words being spelled with a z when they should be spelled with an s.) Issac, Aveonne, Samuel, Amarion, and Te'Kwan - These folks danced to an instrumental version of Teach me how to Jerk. Second Place:
Issac and Amarion - These two gentlemen performed basketball tricks.
Paige - She sang Put your Hearts Up and The Way.
Third Place:
Bryan - He had the entire class laughing as he told original jokes he created.
Hayli, Ayerim, Adajja, Paige, Tiana, and Mr. Giraffe - These ladies (ahem, and Mr. Giraffe) sang to an instrumental version of Taylor Swift's Trouble.

Warning, some of the acts were too long to be e-mailed and had to be sent as separate clips to be viewed separately.
